Experienced & Friendly Car Repair
We opened our shop in July 1997, after owner Chanc Williams spent many years working and gathering knowledge at dealerships and independent repair shops. Chanc opened Williams Automotive & Transmission because he wanted to make a difference in the community and give customers dealership quality with a personal touch.
We wanted to provide customers with a reliable, high quality, and friendly auto repair experience. All of our staff is well trained and loves automobiles. We have a total of 50+ years servicing all vehicle makes and models, including experience at both dealerships and independent auto shops.
Here at Williams Automotive & Transmission, we love what we do because every day is different. Each day brings new faces, new cars, and new challenges. Chanc's love and specialty is electronics, and his ability to handle all the different models make us the ideal place to bring any car.
Come to Williams Automotive & Transmission for guaranteed auto repairs and transmission work. All our technicians are ASE certified and Chanc is an ASE Certified Master Technician.

Tyler Murkerson - Level 2 Technician
Tyler has come a very long ways... Starting in early 2015 this kid, who has know grown into a fine young man, has taken what he has learned and started building a career as an Automotive Service Tech. He is one of the brightest and newest to inter into the automotive service field... He will graduate West Georgia Technical College in may this year of 2017. Tyler came to us in early 2015 with nothing more the a very good mind set strong will to gain employment and make a life for him and his now wife, Debra Murkerson. When I turned him down for the job opening we had at the time, he persisted and came back over and over, so I took a chance. Barbara and I are both very proud to say he really is a hard-working and determined young man. When Tyler started working for Williams Automotive, there were rules that applied 1) school, 2) tools, and 3) customer satisfaction and he has filled the order we required and has really learned the true value of hard work... Tyler is an example of what can be achieved when you want something bad enough myself I am here to let everyone know a dream is a dream until you write it down.
